Why Corti?

We do the right thing because it is the right thing. Having worked in the construction industry for many years before starting Corti, we wanted to create a place for smart & talented people where big egos, greed and unethical behavior weren’t welcome.

The Origin of Our Name

We started our construction company with the intention to build something having a life beyond us and sought a name signifying how we are different. The Corti name and spiral logo were chosen purposefully. The organ of Corti is the spiral organ in the inner ear and the receptor organ for hearing. It symbolizes our culture of listening to each other and our business partners.

How it Started

Founder and CEO Michal Anderson had a vision for a company that could engage a hard-working, trustworthy team. In the first five years, we have grown the business from an idea to a 75+ employee construction company that is working with premier clients such as Microsoft, Amazon, Expedia, AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Starbucks, Suncadia, UW, Google, Honeywell, Prologis, Bellevue College, King County Library System, EvergreenHealth, Swedish, Kaiser Permanente & WSDOT.

Where it is Going

In the 6 years since we launched, our team has steadily grown to over 75 employees. Over half of our team are professional Carpenters with the depth and breadth of experience to execute work directly for our clients. Corti’s employees have decades of experience working with premier corporate clients.
